Now Hiring: Contracts Specialist in San Diego, CA
We’re seeking a detail driven Contracts Specialist to support a mission driven non-profit organization in central San Diego. This temporary, 3 month assignment is ideal for someone who thrives in contract review, drafting, and compliance work while managing data within HubSpot. If you have strong experience with commercial vendor agreements, MOUs/MOAs, and subcontract drafting and enjoy supporting impactful community focused work, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute immediately.
Details:
Pay: $30.00–$40.00/hour
Assignment Type: Temporary for 3 months
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 36 hours/week
Fully onsite in central San Diego
Key Responsibilities
Review commercial vendor contracts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational requirements.
Draft and review Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs).
Prepare, draft, and edit subcontract agreements and related legal documents.
Move, organize, and maintain contract related data within HubSpot.
Support contract compliance activities, including tracking terms, obligations, and renewal deadlines.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary details for drafting, review, and updates.
Maintain organized documentation and version control for all contract artifacts.
Ensure high accuracy and adherence to contract standards across all documents.
Qualifications
Experience reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, MOUs/MOAs, and subcontracts.
Strong understanding of contract terms, conditions, and compliance requirements.
Experience drafting legal documents with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Previous work with HubSpot (preferred) or similar CRM/contract management platforms.
Exceptional written communication and document editing skills.
Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.
Comfort supporting a non profit organization and adapting to evolving project needs.
