Healthcare Customer Service job in San Diego, CA Do you have a passion for healthcare & customer service, and are looking for a foot-in-the-door with a renowned healthcare organization? If so, LHH has the perfect opportunity for you! LHH is partnering with a renowned healthcare company who is actively seeking a Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join their San Diego team! In this role, you will be answering a high volume of inbound calls, transferring calls to the appropriate nurse or Doctor, conducting outbound follow up calls, and accurately entering data into the database. This is a Contract-To-Hire role with an hourly pay starting at $18.00/hour. There is strong potential for a pay increase, excellent benefits and flexibility if you are successfully hired on as a permanent employee! Responsibilities:



  • Answering incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner


  • Assisting patients and physician with questions and inquiries


  • Transferring calls to appropriate nurse or faculty member when necessary


  • Conducting outbound calls to follow up with patients and physicians


  • Accurately entering large amounts of data and producing reports


  • Assisting with clerical tasks through-out office as needed


Compensation:



  • $18.00 USD per hour


  • Contract-To-Hire


Schedule:



  • Monday-Friday


  • Full Time, 40 hours a week


  • 8:00am-5:00pm


  • Onsite in their central, Kearny Mesa office


Qualifications:



  • 1+ years of customer service experience preferred


  • Call center and healthcare experience is a plus


  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)


  • Passion for customer service
