Bilingual HR Coordinator – Chula Vista, CA

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR Coordinator to join our client’s team in Chula Vista. This role supports the Human Resources department with daily administrative tasks and plays a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations.



The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as this role interacts with employees across all departments. Experience with HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, and a general understanding of HR laws and practices is preferred.


This role can be either full-time or part-time. Full-time hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and part-time hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks and department coordination

  • Support employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes

  • Maintain and update employee records, files, and HR databases

  • Prepare offer letters, new hire packets, and other employment documentation

  • Coordinate interviews, schedule meetings, and communicate with applicants

  • Assist with payroll preparation and benefits administration

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations

  • Help organize employee engagement and recognition events

  • Track attendance, leaves of absence, and performance evaluations

  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures

  • Generate HR reports and support audits as needed


Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of human resources experience

  • Bilingual in Spanish is required

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems a plus

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion


Working Hours:

  • Onsite

  • This position can be full-time or part-time

  • Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

  • Part-time: Tuesday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

  • Compensation: $22.00-$25.00 per hour (DOE)
