This is a fully onsite position in San Francisco, five days per week. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite and supporting occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

About the Role

This position reports to senior IT leadership and supports both innovation and continuity following the retirement of a long-tenured developer. • Build and maintain dynamic, scalable web applications using modern programming frameworks

  • Maintain and support intranet and internet websites, including content scheduling, infrastructure monitoring, and domain management

  • Develop and optimize relational databases, with a strong emphasis on SQL Server

  • Support Microsoft 365 applications and SharePoint environments

  • Collaborate closely with faculty, researchers, marketing, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions

  • Provide training, documentation, and user support

  • Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance standards are met

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in AI or machine learning development and web application development

  • Strong Python experience

  • Experience building and maintaining dynamic web applications

  • Hands-on experience with relational databases, with SQL Server strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with AI and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn

  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support faculty, clinicians, and non-technical users

  • Ability to work onsite five days per week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing and deploying AI models in production environments

  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React

  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Experience in healthcare, dental, or academic environments

  • Experience working with APIs, automation workflows, and data integration

  • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Assignment Details

  • Contract with strong potential for contract-to-hire

  • Initial term of 6 to 9 months, with likely extension

  • Fully onsite role in San Francisco

  • Hourly pay range of $83 to $93 on W2

Important Notes

  • This position is W2 only

  • No C2C or third-party candidates

  • No sponsorship now or in the future
