HR Manager
Customer Service & Support
HR Business Partner (Contract)
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Pay Rate: $40–$50/hour
Employment Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders on HR strategy and employee matters
Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and investigations
Support workforce planning, talent development, and succession initiatives
Partner with leadership on organizational design and change management efforts
Interpret and apply employment laws, company policies, and best practices
Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies
Analyze HR metrics and trends to drive business decisions
Assist with compensation planning and job evaluations
Support DEI initiatives and employee engagement programs
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, etc.)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP or HR Manager roles
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
Experience supporting managers in a corporate or professional services environment
Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred
Preferred Experience
Experience working in union or regulated environments
Prior contract or project-based HR support
Change management or transformation project experience
