Job: Leasing Agent



Location: San Francisco, CA (Sunset District)



Start Date: ASAP



Work Schedule: 9:00am - 5:00pm, 40 hours a week

Responsibilities:
  • Answers phones in a courteous and pleasant manner
  • Greets, applicants, residents and vendors
  • Supports Community Manager and/or Leasing Director with marketing efforts (mailing marketing materials, tracking and marketing efforts)
  • Meets with prospective tenants and provides tours of the units
  • Accepts rental applications and ensures they are filled out completely and legibly
  • Assists Community Manager and/or Leasing Director entering pre-applications into waitlist software system
  • Initiates calls to applicants on waitlist for vacant units. Tracks all responses
  • Assists the Community Manager with certification appointment scheduling – collects all relative data to process applicant certification; processes applicant file for approval
  • Initiates application background screening and approval process
  • Receives/completes resident work orders and maintains the Work Order Logbook
  • Prepares and delivers all general notice preparation for the Community Manager, as needed
  • Collects rent payments and security deposits under the supervision of the Community Manager
  • Stores all relevant documentation into resident files
  • Coordinates resident social functions and communications
  • Performs other job duties as required
