LHH is seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst with deep expertise in financial reporting and data analysis within the Professional Services industry. This role focuses on leveraging technology and data to evaluate how service providers—such as lawyers—bill their time, identify opportunities for improvement, and enhance profitability at both the firm and individual level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, run, and extract reports using Aderant Expert to support financial analysis and decision-making.

  • Manage and optimize HRIS payroll systems and processes.

  • Design and maintain relational databases, stored procedures, and SSIS packages in MS SQL Server (2008+) environments.

  • Create and deliver SSRS reports and manage OLAP cubes using SSAS for advanced analytics.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze billing practices and recommend strategies for improving financial performance.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with Aderant Expert for reporting and data extraction.

  • 3+ years of experience with HRIS payroll systems and processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Advanced expertise in relational databases, T-SQL programming, and MS SQL Server (including SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS/OLAP).

  • Strong background in the Professional Services industry, with experience evaluating financials and billing practices for time-based services (e.g., law firms, medical practices).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Intapp Time & Billing or similar platforms.

  • Familiarity with BI visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.

  • Proficiency with Visual Studio tools, including Integration Services and Analysis Services.

  • Experience with IBM Cognos reporting solutions.
