LHH is actively seeking a Benefits Administration Support Specialist for one of our top clients in CA. In this essential support role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day tasks that keep employee benefits running smoothly. From data entry to leave coordination and invoice processing, your attention to detail and commitment to service will help ensure employees receive the benefits they rely on—accurately, efficiently, and on time. What You’ll Do
🔹 Administrative Excellence
Perform daily benefits administration tasks including data entry, scanning, filing, and organizing documentation. Assist in preparing benefits materials, presentations, and internal communications.
🔹 Data & Reporting
Run HR system reports, update employee benefit records, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with plan requirements and deadlines.
🔹 Invoice & Payment Coordination
Audit and reconcile benefits-related invoices, manage retroactive adjustments, process refunds, and research discrepancies to ensure accurate payments and vendor relations.
🔹 Leave of Absence (LOA) Support
Track leave cases, maintain documentation, generate required correspondence, and ensure smooth, timely communication with employees during leave events.
🔹 Compliance & Accuracy
Support compliance with plan rules and deadlines. Maintain confidentiality and safeguard employee data in accordance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
What You Bring
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in benefits administration and invoice reconciliation.
Experience working with benefit brokers or insurance carriers is a plus.
Skills & Knowledge:
Working knowledge of benefits regulations and leave administration practices.
Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with HRIS or benefits/leave management platforms.
Intermediate Excel skills; basic proficiency with Word and Outlook.
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and precision.
Familiarity with UKG Pro and PlanSource preferred.
