We’re looking for a motivated and detail-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our client’s finance operations in Sandy Springs. This role plays a key part in managing billing processes, tracking incoming payments, and maintaining accurate financial documentation. The right candidate will bring strong communication skills, a solid grasp of accounting tools, and a proactive approach to financial accuracy.
What You’ll Do
Create and send timely, accurate invoices to customers.
Keep accounts receivable records up to date and reconcile aging reports.
Review invoice documentation before processing payments.
Track and apply customer payments to the correct accounts.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between invoices and payments.
Address customer questions related to billing and payment issues.
Support month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation.
Work with internal teams to resolve billing concerns.
Generate reports on receivables and payment activity.
Ensure all processes comply with relevant laws and company standards.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or similar financial roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
Hands-on experience with accounting platforms like QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams.
Bonus Skills
Familiarity with ERP systems.
Experience working in fast-paced corporate environments.
Understanding of Georgia’s financial regulations.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
