LHH is partnering with a prestigious law firm in Santa Barbara, CA, to find a talented Receptionist/Legal Assistant. If you have a passion for the legal field and prior experience at a law firm, this could be the perfect role for you!


Key Responsibilities:



  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide exceptional customer service.


  • Support attorneys and paralegals with various tasks.


  • Type drafts, proofread, and assist with legal filings.


  • Oversee monthly client billing, address billing issues, and input attorney timesheets into Webview.


  • Manage file openings for new clients and new matters for assigned corporate and trust & estate attorneys.


Qualifications:



  • Experience as a legal assistant or receptionist in a law firm.


  • Proficiency in partner billing, preparing engagement letters, conflict checks, scheduling meetings and travel, and e-filing in state and federal courts.


  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Role:



  • Onsite in Santa Barbara, CA.
