Are you someone with at least three years of accounting experience supporting with accounts receivable or in the non-profit industry looking to support a wonderful team with accounting and billing? Are you able to work onsite in Santa Clara, CA. We are looking for an accounting professional for at least a few months for a role here in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of accounting experience supporting with accounts receivable or GL, experience using Sage Intacct, and Non-profit industry background. Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
Monitor and track contract billing, ensuring compliance with grant and funding requirements.
Assist with monthly and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards.
Collaborate with program managers to ensure accurate budget tracking and reporting.
Support audit preparation, including documentation for grants and contracts.
Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.
Maintain and update contract and grant tracking systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit or grant-funded environment.
Proven expertise in Accounts Receivable and contract billing.
Familiarity with nonprofit accounting software (Sage Intacct).
Strong understanding of GAAP and fund accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment.
