Construction Biller/Accounts Receivable

LHH Recruitment is working with a construction company in North Scottsdale. This organization is in search of a full time Construction Billing/AR job. This job is fully in office, Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. You must have experience with AIA Billing to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and submit AIA billing applications in compliance with contract terms, including schedule of values (SOV), payment applications, and change orders.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to gather necessary documentation for billing.
• Manage and track accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments from clients.
• Reconcile AR aging reports and resolve discrepancies with clients and internal teams.
• Work closely with project managers to monitor project budgets and billing milestones.
• Prepare and maintain project financial reports, including job cost tracking, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and contractual requirements related to billing and payments.
• Assist with audits, financial reporting, and other accounting functions as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients regarding billing inquiries and payment issues.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in construction billing(as well as AIA) and AR is required. No Medical billing will be considered
• Familiarity with Sage software is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
