LHH is partnering with a company in the construction industry to search for a temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist. This individual will be responsible for managing client accounts, posting payments, and updating the aging reports. You need to be detail-oriented, organized, and have professional communication skills to be considered. Ideally, you will have at least two years of professional work experience in accounting. This opportunity offers a hybrid schedule after training, and you will work with a supportive team. The office is located in the north Seattle, WA area and offers free parking.
Responsibilities:
  • Generate and send invoices to clients according to agreed-upon terms.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely dispatch of invoices.
  • Record and apply payments to customer accounts, including checks, electronic transfers, and credit card transactions.
  • Regularly reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Update aging reports and follow up with clients on overdue invoices.
  • Address client inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications with clients.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and collections activity, to management.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Employment Details:
  • Temporary for 6 months.
  • Hybrid in north Seattle, WA office.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM.


Pay Details: $28.00 to $31.00 per hour
