Contract HR Administrator (3 Months)
Location: Downtown Seattle, WA
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Duration: 3 months (Temp)
Start: 1 week after interviews
We’re seeking a detail-driven HR Administrator to support day-to-day HR operations during a busy period.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle Support: Assist with onboarding and offboarding (I-9/E-Verify, background checks, orientation scheduling, equipment coordination, profile updates).
HRIS & Data Integrity: Enter, audit, and maintain employee records; ensure accuracy and confidentiality; run routine reports.
Compliance & Documentation: Prepare and file confidential HR documents; uphold retention standards; support audits.
Benefits & Payroll Support: Triage employee inquiries; route tickets; help with enrollments, changes, and corrections.
Recruiting Coordination: Post roles, screen resumes, schedule interviews, manage candidate communications, and coordinate offers as needed.
Employee Experience: Monitor shared inboxes and ticketing systems; respond to FAQs with timely, accurate information.
General HR Admin: Calendar management, meeting notes, templates, mailings, and ad hoc projects.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following pathways:
Path A — Education/Passion for HR
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/certificate in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field OR demonstrable passion for HR
OR
Path B — Experience
6+ months of prior HR administrative/coordination experience supporting HR operations (onboarding, HRIS updates, compliance, recruiting coordination, or benefits/payroll support).
Nice-to-Have
Familiarity with HRIS (e.g., Workday, UKG/UltiPro, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors) and ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, iCIMS, Lever).
Experience with I-9/E-Verify, background screening, and employee file audits.
Ticketing or case management systems (ServiceNow, Zendesk, Jira).
Knowledge of employment basics (at-will, confidentiality, personnel file standards, timekeeping).
Excel/Sheets (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filters, pivot basics) and Outlook/Teams proficiency.
Pay Details: $26.50 to $28.00 per hour
