Contract Opportunity: HR Generalist
Location: Renton, WA
Duration: 6+ months (with potential for extension)
Industry: Warehouse / Manufacturing / Transportation
We’re seeking a proactive and experienced HR Generalist to support a dynamic team in Renton, WA. This contract role is ideal for someone with a strong background in warehouse, manufacturing, or transportation environments, and a proven track record of implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, revise, and implement HR-related SOPs to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
Support employee relations, onboarding, and offboarding processes
Assist with timekeeping, payroll coordination, and benefits administration
Partner with operations and leadership to support workforce planning and performance management
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and managers
Qualifications:
3+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in warehouse, manufacturing, or transportation settings
Demonstrated experience creating and implementing SOPs
Strong understanding of HR compliance, labor laws, and best practices
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Pay Details: $36.00 to $47.00 per hour
