Contract Opportunity: HR Generalist

Location: Renton, WA

Duration: 6+ months (with potential for extension)

We’re seeking a proactive and experienced HR Generalist to support a dynamic team in Renton, WA. This contract role is ideal for someone with a strong background in warehouse, manufacturing, or transportation environments, and a proven track record of implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, revise, and implement HR-related SOPs to ensure compliance and operational efficiency

• Support employee relations, onboarding, and offboarding processes

• Assist with timekeeping, payroll coordination, and benefits administration

• Partner with operations and leadership to support workforce planning and performance management

• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies

• Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and managers

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in warehouse, manufacturing, or transportation settings

• Demonstrated experience creating and implementing SOPs

• Strong understanding of HR compliance, labor laws, and best practices

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
