LHH has partnered with a great firm who is looking to add to their legal team in Seattle. This hybrid role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in both federal and state court litigation as a Senior Litigation Paralegal. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with exceptional organizational skills and a deep understanding of legal procedures and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file legal documents in state and federal courts, including e-filing.

  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.

  • Manage case calendars, deadlines, and court schedules.

  • Create and maintain trial binders, exhibit lists, and witness files.

  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and coordinating logistics.

  • Conduct legal and factual research using online databases and court records.

  • Summarize depositions, medical records, and other case-related documents.

  • Coordinate with clients, experts, and witnesses.

  • Maintain case files and document management systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of litigation paralegal experience, with a strong emphasis on trial support.

  • Extensive knowledge of federal and Washington state court rules and procedures.

  • Proven experience with binder creation and trial preparation.

  • Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Relativity, CaseMap, Westlaw, PACER).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.

Job Details:

  • Direct Hire

  • Hybrid- 2 days remote

  • Pay: $85,000 - $100,000

  • This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $80,000 to $100,000 per year and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, and 401k plans.
