Senior Tax Administrator / Tax Preparer
Location: Downtown Seattle, WA (Fully Onsite)
Schedule: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Administrator / Tax Preparer to support day-to-day tax preparation and administrative functions in a fast-paced, professional office environment. This role is fully onsite in downtown Seattle and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and hands-on tax experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (federal, state, and local)
Gather, organize, and verify client tax documents and financial information
Assist with tax filings, extensions, and supporting schedules
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines
Communicate with internal teams and clients to resolve tax-related questions
Provide administrative support including document management, client intake, and audit readiness
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in tax preparation and/or tax administration
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax requirements
Experience with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Professional communication skills and client-facing experience
Prior public accounting or tax firm experience strongly preferred
Work Environment:
Fully onsite role based in downtown Seattle
Collaborative, professional office setting
High-volume, deadline-driven work environment during peak tax periods
Pay Details: $28.00 to $36.53 per hour
