Job Title: Temporary Litigation Attorney

Duration: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension

Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in WA, OR, CA, TX, FL, TN, NJ, or NY)

Hourly Pay Rate: $75-$82/hour

LHH is seeking a Temporary Litigation Attorney to join our client's legal team for a 6-month contract position, with potential for extension. This role will be remote, but candidates must be based in one of the following states: WA, OR, CA, TX, FL, TN, NJ, or NY.

Responsibilities:



  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.


  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.


  • Assist with case management and preparation for hearings and trials.


  • Managing lawsuits from start to finish


  • Making settlement recommendations, reviewing briefs, and collaborating with risk departments

Requirements:



  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.


  • Admission to the bar and in good standing in at least one of the following states: WA, OR, CA, TX, FL, TN, NJ, or NY.


  • Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on litigation.


  • Submission of a self-written writing sample


  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.


  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Experience with remote work and proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools.
