Job Title: Temporary Litigation Attorney
Duration: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension
Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in WA, OR, CA, TX, FL, TN, NJ, or NY)
Hourly Pay Rate: $75-$82/hour
LHH is seeking a Temporary Litigation Attorney to join our client's legal team for a 6-month contract position, with potential for extension. This role will be remote, but candidates must be based in one of the following states: WA, OR, CA, TX, FL, TN, NJ, or NY.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Assist with case management and preparation for hearings and trials.
Managing lawsuits from start to finish
Making settlement recommendations, reviewing briefs, and collaborating with risk departments
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar and in good standing in at least one of the following states: WA, OR, CA, TX, FL, TN, NJ, or NY.
Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on litigation.
Submission of a self-written writing sample
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with remote work and proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools.
