Position Title: Accounting Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst with a strong accounting or bookkeeping background to support key financial operations. This role is responsible for coordinating and reviewing financial reports, performing reconciliations, supporting close processes, and collaborating cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies. The ideal candidate is analytical, systems-savvy, and comfortable working within financial software platforms such as Oracle.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support components of accounting and finance operations or subsystems.

• Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, and other accounting documentation.

• Perform account reconciliations as part of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

• Review and verify purchase orders for accuracy, including amounts and quantities.

• Analyze order management notes and investigate discrepancies.

• Develop and analyze financial data to support management reporting, forecasting, and planning.

• Respond to and resolve issues arising from daily, weekly, and monthly financial processes.

• Support financial activities such as purchase requisitions, invoice reconciliation, supplier payments, check requests, and budget inquiries.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and process efficiency.

• Educate and assist internal customers regarding financial processes and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Accounting or bookkeeping experience required.

• Experience working with accounting software (Oracle experience preferred).

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Comfortable navigating financial systems and working with large datasets.
