Inventory Coordinator
📍 Location: South Hackensack, NJ 🕘
💵 Compensation: Up to $28 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Control Specialist to oversee daily inventory operations for raw materials, with a focus on inks and production supplies. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate counts, maintaining up-to-date records, and providing reliable data to support purchasing decisions. The position requires a balance of hands-on work on the production floor and accurate data management to keep production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct daily physical counts of inks (tanks, drums, and pails) and production supplies (tapes, boxes, scrim, weave, non-woven, Mylar, Tedlar, Rigid, glue, vinyl buttrolls, and pallets)
· Monitor office, kitchen, and janitorial supplies and place orders as needed
· Record inventory counts accurately using standardized checklists and forms
· Enter data into the daily inventory file and ensure accuracy and completeness
· Flag discrepancies, damaged containers, or low stock alerts for review
· Partner with the ordering lead by providing timely and accurate data for ordering decisions
· Maintain organized inventory records and assist with periodic audits
· Communicate inventory status and issues clearly with team members
· Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, orderly work area
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Basic math and measurement skills
· Proficiency with data entry and inventory tracking tools (Excel, Google Sheets, or similar)
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Dependable, punctual, and proactive in identifying issues
· Ability to problem-solve and ensure data integrity
· Physical ability to navigate the production floor and handle inventory items
· Team-oriented mindset
Preferred Experience
· Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing
· Familiarity with raw material handling, especially inks, is a plus
Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
