LHH Recruitment is working with a company near Tempe who is in search of a full time AP Processor to join their team. This role is Monday-Friday and will offer one day work from home after you are trained. The ideal candidate will have high volume invoice processing experience, as well as strong Excel skills(VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables). The hourly rate is up to $28/hr.
This role will be responsible for supporting the accounts payable function by processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with vendor communications. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced accounting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Review invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and required approvals
- Enter and maintain accounts payable data in the accounting system
- Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues
- Assist with check runs and electronic payments as needed
- Maintain organized records and documentation for audit purposes
- Utilize Excel to track, analyze, and reconcile accounts payable data
Qualifications:
- At least 2+ years of full cycle accounts payable or invoice processing experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (including formulas and data organization)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams
