Our client located in Tempe, AZ is looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead their growing team of IT professionals and support the objectives of the department on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities Include:
Conducting routine evaluations of network and data security
Identifying opportunities to optimize and update software and systems
Managing the organization’s IT policy and updating policy documentation as needed.
Organizing and establishing deadlines for major IT projects such system updates, migrations, upgrades, and outages
Oversee IT set up and connectivity in conference rooms, screen displays, consoles, conference phones, etc.
IT Inventory management including storage solutions for equipment
Assist in the procurement of IT equipment and software, including vendor negotiation and relationship management.
Keep abreast of new technology trends and recommend upgrades and improvements to the IT infrastructure.
Ensure data backups are performed regularly and test disaster recovery procedures.
Required/Preferred Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field.
Proven experience in an IT, preferably within a managerial or supervisory capacity.
Strong understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, and security principles.
Experience managing IT projects and leading a technical support team.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Certifications in ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc. are preferred
