Staff Accountant

Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Staff Accountant job in Thornton, CO. To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or a similar subject. You must also have at least 1 year of recent, relevant experience in a similar role.

This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $50,000 and $60,000 annually. You will also be eligible for this company’s competitive benefits package (details below).

Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger account reconciliations


• Preparing bank reconciliations


• Completing monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting close processes including journal entries and account reconciliations


• Assisting in audits with internal and external auditors


• Working with AP, Payroll, and other departments to resolve any accounting issues


• Maintaining fixed asset capitalization, research, and its depreciation schedule


• All other related tasks as required

  Qualifications:



• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or a similar subject required


• At least one year of recent, relevant experience in a similar accounting role


• Excellent attention to detail


• Excellent organizational skills


• Excellent analytical skills


• Previous experience with ERP software such as Sage preferred but not required


• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

  Compensation:



• Annual salary between $50,000 and $60,000
