LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to transition from a temporary assignment to a permanent position based on performance.
Job Title: Staff Accountant (Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Trevose, PA (Fully Onsite)
Position Type: Temporary-to-Permanent
Salary: $25–$30 per hour, with potential for permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary schedules and reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
