Are you a skilled Litigation Paralegal with experience in Labor & Employment law? LHH is helping a reputable law firm in Troy, Michigan search for a detail-oriented and experienced paralegal to support its litigation and employment law practice group. This is a full-time, hybrid position ideal for candidates looking to grow their legal career in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support attorneys with all aspects of litigation case management, including legal research, fact investigations, and case development
Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests/responses
Manage document production and the discovery process, including eDiscovery and case file organization
Interact with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Maintain accurate litigation calendars and monitor key court deadlines
Assist with trial preparation, including deposition summaries, exhibit binders, and pre-trial filings
Communicate with administrative agencies such as the EEOC, MDCR, and NLRB regarding case matters and filings
Qualifications:
ParalegalDegree orCertificate is preferred.
3+ years of experience in litigation, ideally in labor and employment law
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, civil procedure, and Michigan court systems
Proficiency with legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software
Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail
