Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Position Overview
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for processing our client’s vendor invoices, managing expense reports, and ensuring accurate financial documentation within SAP and Concur systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to manage large workloads efficiently.
Location: Union City, CA 94587
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00 Depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities
Scan and index invoices into SAP
Code invoices using appropriate general ledger accounts
Process vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements
Pull backup documentation from Concur for SAP indexing
Verify entries and reconcile system reports with balances
Monitor discount opportunities and prepare payments
Resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, contracts, and payments
Issue stop-payments or amend purchase orders as needed
Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions
Collaborate with internal purchasers and external vendors to resolve conflicts
Ensure proper approval, sorting, coding, and matching of invoices
File trade invoices daily after voucher processing
Reconcile monthly statements and related transactions
Renew legal and business licenses annually in compliance with regulations
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of relevant accounts payable experience
Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas) and Word
Experience with SAP financial modules
Strong 10-key data entry skills
Ability to manage high-volume workloads
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced SAP experience
Strong mathematical skills including algebra and statistics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot billing issues and respond to inquiries
Experience with Concur expense reporting
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
