Site Finance Manager
Job Summary
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Site Finance Manager (Finance Manager) to provide financial leadership and support to the Union City site and partner closely with the Finance Lead for the Diagnostics Platform. This role functions as a plant controller, responsible for financial planning, analysis, and control, including budgeting, forecasting, product costing, and monthly reporting. The position requires strong collaboration with site leadership and cross-functional teams, adherence to US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and proficiency in SAP.

Compensation: $90.00 - $98.00 per hour /W2 / Nonexempt

Typical Day-to-Day Activities
Participate in daily site leadership meetings to review progress, risks, and actions.
Partner with site leadership to monitor and improve financial performance.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Lead annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes.
Conduct weekly flash reporting and KPI tracking (absorption, spend, production variances).
Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts using Blackline for SOX compliance.
Collaborate with operations to interpret metrics and translate them into financial insights.
Support continuous improvement projects and drive financial best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee financial planning, analysis, and control for the site.
Manage product costing and standard cost processes in a labor-intensive manufacturing environment.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, US GAAP, SOX, and audit requirements.
Partner with leadership to identify and implement cost-saving measures.
Maintain effective relationships with Finance Lead, Diagnostics Platform, and other stakeholders.
Act as a finance mentor to non-financial site leaders, explaining financial impacts of operational decisions.
Qualifications – Required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
7+ years of progressive finance experience in manufacturing, with strong cost accounting background.
Proficiency in SAP (non-negotiable).
Strong understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence decisions.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
Master’s degree and/or CMA/CPA certification.
Prior people management experience (currently an individual contributor role but may expand).
Experience with Blackline or similar reconciliation tools.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-complex environment.
Pay Details: $90.00 to $98.00 per hour
