Location: Vancouver, WA
Job Details: Fully Onsite, Contract to Hire, Full time
Compensation: $29-$33.65 an hour DOE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our client in Vancouver, WA. As an ideal candidate, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting and a bachelors degree as well as strong Excel experience.
Responsibilities:
- Processing and reviewing invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of invoices.
- Reconciling vendor statements and maintaining vendor files.
- Aid with vendor inquiries, prepare and process weekly check runs, and provide support to other accounting functions as required.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records, assisting with month-end close, and accruals.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience with general ledger accounting responsibilities; experience with Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
