Human Resources Manager
LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a national law firm. With offices across the United States is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager. Ideal candidates should have five or more years of experience, excellent customer service skills, deep human resources expertise, and significant experience in employee relations. The HR Manager will lead the development, implementation, and administration of best practices, policies, and strategies in the HR function. This role serves as a key strategic business partner, providing hands-on operational and strategic HR leadership.
With a focus on HR policies, programs, compliance, and day-to-day operations, this role will help enhance employee engagement and productivity while supporting broader organizational objectives. The HR Manager will provide support and guidance to leaders across the organization, particularly in areas such as HR policy, staff compensation, performance management, and employee relations.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day HR operations, offer policy recommendations, manage record keeping, support the employee evaluation process, and contribute to staff compensation analysis.
Lead and support automation and process upgrades within the HR function.
Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, handling complex employee relations matters including investigations, discipline, performance improvement, and conflict resolution.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
Deliver exceptional support to stakeholders and employees across the organization.
Collaborate with leadership on special projects and implementations.
Qualifications
5+ years of HR leadership experience in a high-growth professional services environment with a multi-office U.S. presence. Experience in a law firm is a plus.
Bachelor s degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Strong background in managing employee relations, including performance management, counseling, and internal investigations.
Experience directing staff in programs that support engagement, productivity, and organizational goals.
Ability to design and communicate compensation structures, advise on pay decisions, and conduct market and equity research.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations across multiple states.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Sound decision-making skills and the ability to escalate appropriately.
Commitment to continuous improvement and process automation.
Strong project management skills; proficiency in MS Office; experience with ADP is a plus.
Technology/Software: ADP Vantage, possibly other HRIS systems.
Remote work options/Hybrid: 3 days a week in office.

A hybrid work model is in place, requiring employees to work in-office at least three days per week.
Salary range: $125,000 - $150,000.
