Accounting Consultant (Sage Intacct Implementation)
Hi there!
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Consultant to oversee and execute the implementation of Sage Intacct for our accounting team.
We are a well established common carrier railway with our offices located in West Sacramento. As an Accounting Consultant specializing in Sage Intacct, you will play a crucial role in ensuring successful software deployment, customization, and integration with our existing financial systems. While we are open to candidates that come from a variety of industries, any experience within the railway industry would be extremely nice to have.
This is a contract consultant role (likely lasting 6-9 months)
The compensation for the role is between 50-60/hour DOE
This role can primarily operate remotely but the candidate must be able to attend on-site meetings as needed in West Sacramento

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their accounting and financial reporting needs.
Develop implementation plans and timelines for Sage Intacct deployment.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Configure Sage Intacct to align with clients' business processes and accounting practices.
Customize modules, reports, and dashboards to meet specific client requirements.
Integrate Sage Intacct with other enterprise systems as needed.
Manage data migration from Quickbooks to Sage Intacct.
Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to validate system configurations
Monitor project progress and timelines, identifying and mitigating risks as they arise.
Communicate regularly with coworkers, management and vendors to provide project updates.
Chart of accounts extraction/migration.
Document all processes, configurations, and customizations implemented within Sage Intacct.
Share best practices and recommendations with clients to optimize their use of Sage Intacct.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in accounting consulting or project management, with specific expertise in Sage Intacct implementations.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in configuring and customizing Sage Intacct software.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Quickbooks experience nice to have.
