About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN). This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees using ADP WFN
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws
Maintain accurate payroll records and reports
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in both English and Spanish
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and benefits deductions
Assist with year-end processes including W-2 preparation and distribution
Qualifications:
3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-state environment
Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is required
Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of payroll tax filings and compliance
CPP or FPC certification is a plus
